American Suzuki Institute Summer Camp

American Suzuki Institute (ASI) is a summer music camp that has been a part of the Stevens Point community since 1971.

What is the American Suzuki Institute (ASI)?

The American Suzuki Institute provides the opportunity for students, parents and teachers to further their understanding of the philosophy and teachings of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki. The concentrated form of the student classes stimulate and motivate while reinforcing the skills developed in the normal course of study at home. The Institute allows parents to see the success of the Suzuki approach on a grand scale and to enhance the skills they need to help their children learn. Unique to ASI is the extensive Lecture Series on topics sure to enhance your success as a home teacher.

What is the Scavenger Hunt?

We want to encourage the ASI campers to visit Stevens Point area businesses. We are organizing a Scavenger Hunt that is designed to increase foot traffic and awareness of businesses who buy ads in our ASI program booklet. These businesses also donate prizes for the winners of the Scavenger Hunt. EVERY business who buys an ad and donates prizes will be eligible for the Scavenger Hunt. If you prefer to buy an ad to show your support for ASI but prefer to opt out of the Scavenger Hunt, please let us know. Our campers are all ages since our camp is geared toward families as well as adults who enroll for teacher training.
