About Us

The mission of the Stevens Point Alliance, Inc. is to promote tourism and events in the Downtown Stevens Point area to benefit the community. In addition, we may present a unified voice to our local and State government officials based on our downtown organization’s community goals.
Who are we?

We are an organized group of small business owners and organizations downtown that started a non-profit. We started a non-profit so we could give support directly back into the Downtown. Downtown Point works together with businesses downtown to feature a number of events in the heart of Stevens Point. We want to give everyone the enjoyment of family-friendly events in a warm and welcoming Downtown.

Our organization hosts these well known events, FREE to the public:

  • 4th of July Parade
  • Discover Downtown
  • Holiday Parade

Other well known events we host are:

  • Wine Walk
  • Shop Small Saturday
  • The Holiday Giveaway

A few other commitments our group has focused our efforts on are:

  • Boat Dock system at Pfiffner Park. In the past few months we have raised over $9,000 to put in a dock system by Pfiffner Pioneer Park! Our goal is to have a floating dock in the water the Summer of 2018!
  • Presented a unified voice to our local government that Metered/Kiosk parking in our downtown would be detrimental to our Downtown goals.
